1.       The purpose of this RFQual is to develop a list of pre-qualified Respondents willing to provide inspection services for large diameter water delivery pipelines utilizing proven inspection technologies on an on-call basis, and to set forth project-specific agreement award procedures for work that falls within the solicited program. Technologies shall address the following pipe types under full, partially full, and dewatered pipeline operational conditions.
Ø  Non-PCCP pipelines, which include concrete pipelines (C300 reinforced concrete cylinder, C302 reinforced concrete non-cylinder, and C303 pretensioned concrete), and metallic (welded steel/cast iron) pipelines.
Ø  PCCP lines (C301 prestressed concrete cylinder pipe).
Metropolitan will pre-qualify consultants for one or more of the following technical categories:
Category 1:   Rapid assessment tools for large diameter non-PCCP inspections.
Category 2:   Comprehensive assessment tools for large diameter non-PCCP inspections.
Category 3:   Rapid assessment tools for large diameter PCCP inspections.
Category 4:   Comprehensive assessment tools for large diameter PCCP inspections.
Category 5:   External assessment tools for large diameter concrete and metallic pipeline inspections.
