The work consists of furnishing and installing approximately 2,150 linear feet of 54-inch to
66-inch diameter steel pipe, furnishing and installing approximately 200 linear feet of 144-inch diameter steel pipe, installation of large-diameter Contractor-furnished valves, installation of Metropolitan-furnished 54” and 132” diameter valves, 54” and 145.5” diameter tie-ins, associated pipe fittings, four surge tanks, two valve vaults, air compressor yard structure, drainage improvements, various electrical upgrades, instrumentation and controls, piping systems, excavation of cobbles and large boulders, welding, disinfection, surface restoration, and other appurtenant work as specified and shown on the drawings.
