PROCUREMENT OVERVIEW

The primary objective of this program is to ensure the continuous availability of critical materials and parts, reduce stockouts and emergency purchases, streamline replenishment processes, and improve the overall total cost of ownership (TCO). The contract scope includes managing inventory items at designated VIA Rail locations, supplying stockable items to stores, and delivering non-stockable items to various VIA Rail stations and administrative locations across Canada.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Bidders must demonstrate experience in managing Vendor Managed Inventory programs.
