Description

Field Support Services (FSS) in Ghana The objective of the Field Support Services (FSS) Contract is to engage a Contractor to manage and implement the FSS project and to provide technical expertise in key development thematic to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and relevance of Canada’s official development assistance (ODA) in Ghana and, ultimately, to ensure compliance with Canada’s applicable terms and conditions governing international Assistance. The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD), also known as Global Affairs Canada (GAC) requires readily available in-depth analysis of the local context and related development issues to inform decision-making and align with country development priorities. The FSS will provide technical services and expertise essential for ensuring accountability, value for money, and real results of Canadian development programming. By providing needed expertise the FSS enables DFATD’s participation in a broad range of efforts to strengthen the effectiveness of recipient-country governance and institutional systems for development assistance, coordinate sector support, facilitate policy dialogue, and build inclusive partnerships.
