Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to replace an existing hydro utility pole and associated 44 kV air break switch located on the primary electrical feed to Beaver Creek Institution. This work is required to improve the reliability of the main electrical distribution system by mitigating recurring operational failures of the existing air break switch, thereby reducing the risk of unplanned power outages affecting the institution. Deliverables: The contractor must coordinate and plan the work with institutional staff and the local utility company, establish electrical isolation and safety controls, remove existing infrastructure, install a new pole and support systems, install a new 44 kV air break switch, reinstall the electrical components, test and commission the new air break switch, restore the system, restore the site and final clean up.
