PROCUREMENT OVERVIEW:
The Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PSPC) is seeking to establish a directory of qualified suppliers for translation services through a Request for Supply Arrangements (RFSA). The primary objective is to fulfill the translation needs for official languages, allowing suppliers to qualify in various tiers based on language combinations and specific fields of work, totaling seventy (70) fields. This is an ongoing opportunity, with a continuous notice posted on the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) for suppliers to apply for Supply Arrangement EN966-140305.
ISSUING ORGANIZATION:
The issuing organization is the Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PSPC), located in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. The primary contact for this RFSA is Myriam Sigouin, who can be reached at [email protected].
CONTRACT DETAILS:
The contract type is a Supply Arrangement (SA), which is not a fixed-price contract but rather an agreement to provide services as needed. There is no estimated contract value or budget range specified. Existing pre-qualified suppliers do not need to resubmit unless they wish to qualify for new fields or tiers.
EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Proposals will be evaluated based on the suppliers' qualifications in the chosen language combinations and fields of work. The evaluation process is competitive and will consider the ability to meet the ongoing needs of the PSPC.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
While not mandatory, suppliers with experience in government translation services or those who can demonstrate a strong track record in specific fields may have a competitive advantage. Preferred certifications or additional capabilities that enhance service delivery may also be favorably considered.
