The Reconnecting Communities Project will include planning and art design activities for the areas around the landing pads of a planned pedestrian bridge that will cross California State Route 99. The bridge will connect Parkway Drive and Roeding Park. The project will focus on enhancing the pedestrian experience and expanding transportation options for residents. Artwork is a vital component of the project to ensure that the design adequately reflects the needs and preferences of the surrounding community.
An Art Consultant is needed to collaborate in community participation efforts and gather essential input to shape the project's design and unique art features. The awarded Art Consultant(s) will also participate in community outreach efforts with the CBO(s), and architect and engineering firm on the project, but those entities will be contracted with FAX separately from this solicitation. The Art Consultant(s) will work collaboratively with the entire project team.
