NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT Requirement The Department of National Defence has a requirement to lease two (2) portable laser ablation systems for a 3-month period, with contracts expected to be awarded to two separate vendors (one system per vendor), to enable a direct, head-to-head evaluation of the competing systems. There are security requirements associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Article 2.1 of the Resulting Contract Clauses. For more information on personnel and organization security screening or security clauses, bidders should refer to the Industrial Security Program (ISP) of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://ssi-iss.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/index-eng.html) website”. The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services. The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
