This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, all CSC institutions in the Quebec Region. Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Canada Korea Trade Agreement (CKTA), Canada free trade agreements with Chile/Colombia/Honduras/Panama, Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement, Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). Policy on Reciprocal Procurement: This solicitation is open only to Canadian suppliers and to Suppliers of an applicable trading partner. Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid. Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada (CSC) requires services for the preventive maintenance and repair of medical equipment at all CSC institutions in the Quebec region. This service is necessary to comply with Accreditation Canada's Required Safety Practices as well as manufacturers' recommendations, to ensure that the equipment is functional and effective throughout its lifespan. They also contribute to providing safe and secure health services to clients. Objectives: The Contractor must provide preventive maintenance and repair services for medical equipment by supplying the qualified labour, expertise, products, accessories, tools, equipment, and transportation to carry out the work. Deliverables: The Contractor must: a) Provide a complete list as well as a comprehensive visit report on all equipment inspected according to Accreditation Canada criteria after each service, within 60 days. The visit report must include: i. one report per device inspected; ii. the calibration certificate; iii. for devices requiring repair, a document detailing the necessary repairs. b) Provide a complete list of tools and equipment used during the work. Submit the list for review before each visit. Keep an updated list of tools and equipment throughout the work. c) Provide one invoice per institution, once the project manager has approved the submitted reports.
