The City of Inglewood (City) is soliciting bids from interested, qualified, experienced companies (Contractors) to provide preventive, full-elevator, accessible maintenance and repair services at various city locations. Contractors are invited to submit bids describing their technical qualifications and experience to perform the services identified in the scope of work, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.
Contractors will provide all labor, transportation, supplies, materials, equipment, parts, tools, scaffolding, machinery, hoists, employee safety equipment, lubricants, supervision, and all other work or materials (Services) as required to accomplish the elevator maintenance services and emergency repairs with the City’s contract requirements and specifications.
The general work will include routine preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, calibration, installation, and on-call repair services. The City operates on a 9/80 schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is closed every other Friday. City representatives will schedule the Contractor to come in and complete the work after the order has been placed.
