The Correctional Services Division (CSD) seeks the services of a qualified third-party consultant to conduct an objective and evidence-based review of the Correctional Officer Physical Abilities Test (COPAT) which CSD uses as a screening tool to evaluate job-readiness. Presently, successful completion of the COPAT is a pre-requisite to initial employment/hiring of Correctional Peace Officers (CPO) and Correctional Services Workers (CSW), and as a screening mechanism to determine a new officer’s ability to attend Correctional Services Induction Training (CSIT).
