IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS – CLOSING DATE AMENDMENT Amendment 001 1. This amendment is issued to extend the closing date and time of Solicitation W1985-26B051, originally published on September 11, 2026. The original closing date of September 25, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. EDT is hereby replaced with the following revised closing date: October 9, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. EDT. 2. Correction to RFP : section 1.3 : Term. The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31st, 2027, inclusive. section 6.3 Evaluation of Price : The price of the bid will be evaluated in Canadian Dollars (CAD), excluding applicable taxes, FOB Destination, including all applicable duties, transportation, delivery, installation, training, and all other costs necessary to perform the Work. Bids may be submitted in currencies other than CAD. For evaluation purposes, prices submitted in a foreign currency will be converted to Canadian Dollars (CAD) using the Bank of Canada exchange rate in effect on the solicitation closing date. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will receive the maximum score for price. Where price is the sole basis of financial evaluation, the contract will be awarded to the responsive bidder whose bid is determined to be technically compliant and offers the lowest evaluated price. ********************************************************************** In the interest of transparency, responses to questions submitted by suppliers will be distributed to all bidders. Scope Acquisition, installation, commissioning, and training for two (2) laser engraving machines to produce identification plates and perform permanent marking of parts and equipment used by the Canadian Armed Forces. One machine will be delivered and installed at the 202nd Workshop Depot (202 WD) in Montréal, Quebec, and the other at the Land Engineering Support Centre (LESC) in Ottawa, Ontario.
