The work consists of sealing cracks in the asphalt pavement, applying emulsified Type II slurry seal coat to the pavement surface; crack sealing; replacement of traffic striping, pavement markings, and raised pavement markers; and appurtenant work. Some street segments will also require removal and replacement of asphalt pavement at certain locations, which will be handled independently of this project by City maintenance crews prior to application of slurry seal in accordance to Plans and Specification entitled Capital Improvement Project No. 26-03.
