The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride has a requirement for horse-drawn carriage training (riders and horses), farrier services, horse boarding services, horse sourcing and brokerage services. RCMP rider carriage training must be conducted monthly over two days at the RCMP stables to deliver hands-on instruction between the hours of 7am and 2pm. Horse training must be conducted at the supplier’s stables / training facility. Sourcing suitable carriage horses for the RCMP and providing related brokering services for the purchase of identified horses are also required of the supplier.
