The City of Palm Springs (“City”) is a charter city located in eastern Riverside County, California, with a
population of approximately 48,000. The City owns, operates, and maintains a wide range of public
facilities, including but not limited to City Hall, Fire Stations, Police Headquarters, Palm Springs
International Airport, the Convention Center, libraries, parking structures, parks and recreational
facilities, and other municipal buildings.
The City has ongoing and anticipated needs to maintain, rehabilitate, modernize, and expand its public facilities over the next several years. These efforts may include capital improvement projects, facility condition upgrades, code compliance improvements, sustainability and energy efficiency
enhancements, and space planning initiatives.
The City is seeking qualified architectural firms to provide on-call architectural services on an as-needed basis for a variety of projects. The intent of this RFQ is to establish a pool of pre-qualified consultants that can be utilized to support the City in delivering projects efficiently and effectively.
