The Canadian Pari-Mutuel Agency (CPMA) is the federal agency responsible for regulating pari-mutuel betting in Canada on horse racing. It operates a drug control (anti-doping) program in support of that mandate. The CPMA’s Equine Drug Evaluation Centre in Jerseyville, Ontario currently has one (1) single-story building that is used as an office space and equine stable and one (1) single-story building that is used as a garage. Supply all permits, materials, equipment and labour required to supply and install new steel roofing on the equine stable, storage area and treatment room of the equine stable, storage area and treatment room of the office building (excluding the administrative area) and garage at the Equine Drug Evaluation Centre, Jerseyville, Ontario. The new steel roof will be constructed to meet or exceed all current National Building Code (NBC) regulations associated with farm building structures. The Contractor will only incorporate new materials into the structure, as used materials are not acceptable. The Contractor will not make any changes to the structural members of the building without written approval of the Departmental Representative. Building Dimensions The office building (769 m2) consists of an office space, treatment room, stable area and storage area was built in 1986, the treatment room and stable areas have a sloped metal roof installed atop wood strapping (38mm X 89mm). The roof above the administrative area of the office building , built in 1980 was replaced in April 2017 and is not included in the scope. The subject building has an attic and is enclosed with sloped metal panel roof system. Roof over office building is a gabled roof constructed with exposed fastener metal roof panel system. The roof is a steep slope roof, sloped (approximately 4-inch per 12 inches) and drains water to the perimeter gutters. The garage building (113 m2) is a garage space with sloped metal roof atop wood roof strapping (38mm X 89mm) built in 1980. The roof structure is exposed on the underside of the metal panel roof system. The roof is sloped (approximately 4- inches per 12 inches) and drains water to the perimeter gutters. Note: all dimensions are to be confirmed by contractor.
