Stage 2 - Sidney Operations Centre Marine Fuel & Docks Replacement, Gulf Islands National Park Reserve

Parks Canada Agency has a requirement for a Contractor to replace the existing docks and marine fueling system at the Sidney Operations Centre (SOC), located at 2220 Harbour Road in Sidney, British Columbia, which serves as the primary Parks Canada Agency office and marine operations base for the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve. The work includes the removal, disposal, and replacement of the existing docks, pilings, and associated servicing systems. The Contractor will supply and install new aluminum-frame docks, pilings, water and electrical services, dock lighting, and a new fueling system consisting of a 5,000-litre fuel tank, fuel lines, and dispenser. All in-water works, including the removal of the existing docks and pilings and the installation of the new docks, must be completed within the lower-risk fisheries window between December 1, 2026, and February 15, 2027. Work occurring above the high-water line may be completed outside of this period. The Contractor will be required to implement the mitigation measures identified in Parks Canada Agency’s Basic Impact Assessment to minimize environmental risks and impacts associated with the project. TWO STAGE SELECTION PROCESS This posting is the Stage Two of a two-stage solicitation process: the first stage was to evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers. The second stage (Stage Two) is to invite the qualified suppliers to provide further qualifications and a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings.
