OTIEM will modernize the RCAF’s air operational training infrastructure, directly addressing aging and obsolete RCAF air weapons ranges, facilities, and training systems, enabling pilot training on new platforms and capabilities in relevant and realistic exercises reflective of anticipated future combat operations. Through this RFI, the Defence Investment Agency (DIA) aims to gather input from industry, leverage its expertise, and assess interest, capabilities, and capacity to deliver OTIEM solutions. Industry perspectives will play a critical role in shaping the project’s direction and enabling its successful implementation. It is requested that responses be provided as outlined in Annex C - Questions to Industry. This is the first of multiple potential engagement activities planned under this RFI process.
