The Watermain Extension Program was created to improve the existing water system for better connectivity and looping. This program provides the following benefits: • Improve fire flow for existing areas • Reduce/mitigate water quality concerns • Improve the system design to meet current design standard • Establish better water network for future redevelopment, and operational considerations This program identified two watermain upgrades that includes the crossing of Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) track/RoW (Righ-of-Way).
