In the event the province requires Firetack Crew resources for emergency operations and activities related to wildfire operations, the Ministry of Forestry and Parks may enter into non-guaranteed contracts to deliver those services. The term “non-guaranteed” means the crew(s) will be hired on an as-needed basis with no guarantee of work. Agreements may be signed with qualified contractors who intend on conducting business with the province.
