Servicing of a three-cell chlorinated water cistern. This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Edmonton Institution, Edmonton Alberta. Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Policy on Reciprocal Procurement: This solicitation is open only to Canadian suppliers. Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest priced compliant bid. Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to service a three-cell chlorinated water cistern supplying both the drinking water and fire protection systems. The work will involve the following: Objectives: The Contractor must replace four (4) failed underwater isolation valves to enable full hydraulic isolation of each of the 3 cistern cells: consisting of two (2) 133,000-gallon storage cells and one (1) 58,500-gallon pumping chamber. Once individual isolation of the cistern's cell is feasible, the Contractor must proceed with cleaning and disinfection of the cistern, one cell at a time. This includes isolating, draining, cleaning, disinfecting and refilling the storage cells and wet cleaning of the pumping chamber. The work also includes conducting a visual inspection to document the condition and identify any required repairs. All work must be performed while the cistern remains in service. Deliverables: The contractor must provide: Contractor must deliver a documented list of found deficiencies, photographs, and video of the work completed and provided to the Project Authority via flash drive or other means of electronic delivery. Contractor must provide photographs and/or video including all the work the Contractor has completed under the project SOW. The Contractor is also required to include a documented itemized list of found deficiencies outside the SOW including recommendations, photographs, and/or video. All videos and photographs are to be provided to the Project Authority via a flash drive or other means of electronic delivery. The Contractor must print material to be required, double sided printing in black and white format is the default unless otherwise specified by the Project Authority. The Contractor must ensure printed material is on paper with a minimum recycled content of 30% and/or certified as originating from a sustainably managed forest. Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none. Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment. Duration of Contract and Time Frame for Delivery: Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of October 14th, 2026 to October 30th, 2026.
