RFB - Northwest B.C. Supply Chain Development Analysis

PROCUREMENT OVERVIEW

The Department of Western Economic Diversification (WD) is seeking a Contractor to conduct a comprehensive supply chain development analysis for major projects in Northwest British Columbia (B.C.). The primary objective is to assess the anticipated demand for goods and services resulting from significant project developments in the region, particularly focusing on Indigenous economic participation. The Contractor will evaluate the capacity of local, provincial, and domestic companies to meet procurement demands from project proponents. The analysis will cover several major projects, including LNG Canada Phase 2, Cedar LNG, Ksi Lisims LNG, Prince Rupert Gas Transmission Pipeline, Red Chris Mine Expansion, North Coast Transmission Line Expansion, and CANXPORT. The final report will identify opportunities for local suppliers and best practices from previous projects to enhance accessibility for local companies.
