AI-POWERED OFFICIAL LANGUAGES LEARNING SOLUTION

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is exploring tools to support employees in learning their second official language (English or French) in response to evolving operational and legislative requirements. The modernization of the Official Languages Act has reinforced the importance of maintaining and strengthening bilingual capacity across the organization to ensure compliance with the Agency's obligations to serve Canadians and support employees in the official language of their choice. Investing in effective and accessible second-language learning solutions will help the CRA maintain its bilingual capacity, support succession planning, and continue providing high-quality services in both official languages. As a result, the CRA is assessing the feasibility of implementing a scalable, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered language learning solution aligned with CRA corporate requirements and Government of Canada requirements. Responding to this Request for Information (RFI) is not a prerequisite to being eligible to bid on any subsequent solicitation. Any subsequent solicitation will be advertised on the Government Electronic Tendering Service commonly referred to as CanadaBuys. This RFI is not to be construed as a solicitation for tenders or proposals. No contract or other form of commitment will be entered into based on responses to this RFI. This RFI is not authorization by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to undertake any work that would result in costs to the CRA.
