The SGVCOG in cooperation with the City of Pomona has obtained funding through the State’s Active Transportation Program (ATP) for additional pedestrian- and bicycle-related safety improvements, crossing and intersection improvements, and vehicular roadway traffic calming improvements along Main Street and Palomares Street in the City of Pomona. The SGVCOG has identified potential Active
Transportation Program improvements along Main Street and Palomares Street, including at the Union Pacific Railroad crossings within the City of Pomona. SGVCOG desires to retain a Consultant to provide outreach and engineering design services for the improvements described above.
