PROJECT BACKGROUND .1 Wolf Lake West Overflow Campground within Wolf Lake West Provincial Recreation Area (PRA) was substantially damaged in a 2023 wildfire, resulting in 80-90% asset losses and the closure of the area until repairs can be completed. Following an inspection in the fall of 2023, only emergency and critical public safety issues were addressed such as installing security gates, covering open pit toilet tanks, and removing some of the fire-damaged site infrastructure.
