The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is so Wetaskiwin Regional Public Schools (WRPS) can evaluate potential partners for a multi-site datacenter refresh and hypervisor migration. This proposal outlines a specific strategic transition of our primary and disaster recovery (DR) compute environments. Transitioning from a legacy 7-node VMware VxRail footprint (4 nodes Primary / 3 nodes DR) to a 5-node Microsoft Hyper-V footprint (3 nodes Primary / 2 nodes DR). This includes a complete refresh of compute, storage, and fabric at both locations.
