The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development intends to establish a contract for the rental of five (5) diesel generators to provide the primary electrical power supply for certain facilities of the Embassy of Canada in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, including the chancery, the official residence and employee residences. The requirement is for a turnkey solution that includes, but is not limited to, the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance and removal of the generators at the end of the Contract. Depending on the specific needs of the different facilities, the services also include the supply of fuel and the installation, operation and maintenance of the equipment required for its storage, transfer and filtration, and for supplying fuel to the generators. The Contractor will be responsible for providing all qualified personnel, equipment, materials, tools, replacement parts and related services required to ensure the continuous and safe operation of the systems. The Contractor must also provide preventive and corrective maintenance, emergency support available at all times, and the prompt replacement of any equipment that cannot be returned to service within the prescribed timeframes. All Work must be performed in accordance with the applicable codes, standards, safety requirements and manufacturers’ recommendations.
