The Economic Development Department (EDD) of The City of San Diego (City) is seeking proposals for the procurement, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive real estate management software solution to effectively manage a diverse real estate portfolio. The City’s real estate portfolio includes all types of facilities required to support basic government services, such as parks, police stations, fire stations, libraries, maintenance yards, and administrative buildings as well as two airports: Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport and Brown Field Municipal Airport. The City manages approximately 850 leases and other agreements related to the City’s real estate portfolio. Additionally, the City also leases space from private landlords. Furthermore, the City is serving as the Successor Agency to the former redevelopment agency, charged with managing and dissolving assets of the former agency.
