The City of San Bernardino seeks a qualified consultant to provide professional design engineering services for SS4A-funded roadway safety improvements at five locations: Highland Avenue at Eucalyptus Drive, 30th Street, Meridian Avenue, Kendall Drive, and Lynwood Drive.
Services include preliminary engineering, NEPA documentation, assessment of right-of-way needs and utility impacts, and project reporting and outcome assessment. Option Phase 1 includes final engineering design, subsurface utility engineering, utility relocation, and right-of-way acquisition support as needed.
Proposed improvements include pedestrian crossings, bicycle facilities, traffic control and signalization, pavement friction treatments, lighting upgrades, and sidewalk gap closures.
