Base Garbage Pickup and Disposal The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision, equipment, transportation, and tools necessary to remove and dispose of all waste and recyclable materials at CFB Suffield, and Ralston Alberta. Waste and recycling removal within the Village of Ralston is included in this contract. Residential housing waste within the Village of Ralston is included in the contract. A NON-MANDATORY site visit will be held at the following date, time, and location. Date: October 08, 2026 Time: 10:30 AM MT (Local Time) Location: Pass Office (Building R46) in Ralston, Alberta Those bidders (or subs) wishing to attend the scheduled site tour are requested to contact the DCC office 24 hours prior to the site tour date by email to [email protected]. The site tour is for the purpose of allowing contractors and sub-contractors to view the project site and note any conditions or concerns that may impact their bid. The site tour is strictly for observation purposes. No questions are to be asked of the DCC Representative during the tour. The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $2,190,00 for 2 years of Service; Multiple extension opportunities exist, where this contract could be valued at an estimated $5,750,000 should the contract be fully extended. The Work must be completed no later than December 31, 2028 after notification of contract award. Following Contract award, the Contractor will be required to progressively mobilize and be ready to commence providing Garbage Pick-up and Disposal Services on January 1, 2027, referred to as the Service Commencement date. The Contractor will provide Garbage Pick-up and Disposal Services for a two-year period starting from the Service Commencement date (January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2028). The Contractor will provide Garbage Pick-up and Disposal Services for a two-year period starting from the Service Commencement date (January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2028). If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the contract may be extended for up to three (3) additional one (1) year period with the same Terms and Conditions and applicable cost escalation. The amounts quoted shall remain firm for the period of the contract. Rate adjustment for the option years will be made in accordance with the CPI terms and conditions as per Amendment #1. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the requirements set out in the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Chapter Nineteen of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-GPA).
