The CER is entering a significant round of collective bargaining with PIPSC. Several members of the Bargaining Team and the SMC have limited or no prior experience with collective bargaining. As a result, the CER anticipates increased scrutiny and oversight throughout the mandate development and approval process. The organization must balance alignment with TBS direction while addressing CER‑specific operational priorities.
