Polarization Synthesizer

The National Research Council Canada requires the supply of a polarization synthesizer capable of generating and controlling well-defined, rapidly varying polarization states to enable accurate characterization and testing of polarization-dependent components. A polarization synthesizer provides deterministic and programmable control of SOP, enabling reproducible laboratory emulation of real-world polarization effects. The Polarization Synthesizer should be designed to deliver high-speed, precise polarization control, making it a valuable tool for validating polarization-sensitive devices and improving the reliability and performance of optical communication and photonic technologies.
