Offer submissions must be submitted by 27 October 2026 by 14:00 EDT. The Defence Investment Agency, on behalf of the Department of National Defence, is soliciting bids for the acquisition of a Domestic General Purpose Uncrewed Aircraft System (GPUAS) capability. The requirement supports domestic operations conducted by the Canadian Army, including intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance activities, situational awareness, force protection, disaster response, search and rescue support, infrastructure assessment, training, and experimentation. The procurement includes the supply and delivery of a minimum of eighty (80) UAS systems, associated payloads, ground control stations, support equipment, technical publications, spare parts, software and firmware support, train-the-trainer services and includes airworthiness support, cybersecurity assurance, supply chain security, spectrum supportability, configuration management, and lifecycle sustainment requirements. This procurement is limited to qualified suppliers holding a Stream 1 Supply Arrangement under the Defence Drone Initiative (DDI).
