The Supply and Delivery of one (1) Handheld Photosynthesis Meter for Soil and Vegetation Investigations The Instrument will be used by the Ministry to measure plant gas exchange by quantifying carbon dioxide uptake and water vapour loss from leaves. The Instrument provides measurements of photosynthetic rate, stomatal conductance, and transpiration rate used to assess plant health and physiological stress in response to contaminants and adverse environmental conditions. The Ministry conducts soil and vegetation investigations to identify and characterize known or suspected sources of contaminants and assess potential adverse effects on vegetation and crops resulting from soil contamination and other environmental stressors.
