Radiation Therapy Equipment

Ontario Health manages the provincial inventory of radiation equipment planning and treatment systems to ensure equitable access to evidence-based, high-quality radiation therapy for the province. To support this work, Ontario Health receives an annual Radiation Equipment Replacement Grant from the Ministry of Health (MOH) to fund the replacement and/or upgrade of aging equipment and systems within the existing inventory. Ontario Health releases the Radiation Treatment Capital Investment Strategy which forecasts the regional requirements of net-new machines. The intent for this RFP is to qualify primary Successful Respondent(s) and establish Master Pricing Agreements (MPAs) for the purchase of Radiation Therapy Systems, including treatment machines to support the forecasted demand for the Ontario hospitals.
