The City of Fresno Department of Transportation (FAX) is seeking professional Architectural & Engineering (A&E) services for evaluation, design, and preparation of construction documents for modernization of elevator systems.
This project includes modernization of an Otis hydraulic passenger elevator rated at 2,500 pounds located in the FAX administration building, and an Otis hydraulic freight elevator with a capacity of 4,000 pounds located in the FAX maintenance building. The selected Consultant shall assess existing conditions and develop engineering drawings, specifications, and recommendations necessary to support the modernization of these systems.
This project is for professional A&E services only. No construction services are included under this contract. Construction will be procured separately under a future solicitation.
The selected Consultant and its subconsultants shall not be eligible to participate as a contractor or subcontractor in the construction phase of this project but will serve during the construction phase of work to review and ensure quality assurance on the project.
