The required professional services will support the delivery of key infrastructure components, networking fixes and improvements as well as high visibility projects such as Otto , Artificial Intelligence and the Lakehouse. The Cloud Engineer will implement, configure, automate, and support cloud infrastructure, platform services, and cloud-native solutions in accordance with Government of Canada Cloud Guardrails, departmental standards, enterprise architecture principles, and security controls. The Cloud Engineer will support the deployment, integration, modernization, and operational management of Microsoft Azure services, enterprise applications, AI-enabled solutions, and hybrid cloud environments. The Cloud Engineer will collaborate with the Cloud Centre of Expertise (CCoE), Shared Services Canada (SSC), Security Operations, infrastructure teams, application teams, and project stakeholders to deploy, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, automate, and document cloud services, platform components, application hosting environments, identity services, storage, networking, and operational processes while supporting continuous improvement, operational excellence, and knowledge transfer. The Cloud Architect will design, document, and provide technical leadership for the Department's cloud architecture, ensuring compliance with Government of Canada Cloud Guardrails, departmental standards, security controls, and enterprise architecture principles. The Cloud Architect will support cloud infrastructure, cloud-native applications, application modernization initiatives, Azure platform services, AI-enabled solutions, and hybrid architectures. Responsibilities include the design of governance models, subscription hierarchies, landing zones, security architecture, integration patterns, DevSecOps practices, application hosting models, and reference architectures to support enterprise cloud adoption and integration with on-premises and cloud-based services. The Network Specialist will design, implement, document, and support cloud and hybrid networking solutions that provide secure, resilient, and high-performing connectivity between cloud, on-premises, partner, and externally hosted environments. The specialist will support enterprise cloud platforms, cloud-native applications, application modernization initiatives, AI-enabled solutions, and hybrid architectures by designing and implementing networking services, secure integration patterns, and connectivity solutions. The Network Specialist will collaborate with Shared Services Canada (SSC), internal Security Operations, infrastructure teams, application teams, and project stakeholders to design, implement, validate, and document network connectivity, firewall configurations, DNS services, certificate management, identity integration, private connectivity, and network security controls in accordance with Government of Canada standards and departmental policies. The Database Administrator will design, implement, maintain, and optimize database platforms across on-premises and Azure environments, ensuring the availability, performance, security, and recoverability of business-critical systems. The Database Administrator will implement and support backup, restore, high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring, and security controls, while providing technical advice and documentation related to database migrations, cloud integration, and operational best practices in coordination with application teams, Shared Services Canada (SSC), and internal security stakeholders.
